We are the Coalition to Eradicate Viral Hepatitis in Asia Pacific (CEVHAP), a not-for-profit organisation advocating for social and public policy reforms to reduce the burden of viral hepatitis across Asia Pacific. Our long-term goal is to eradicate hepatitis.
Viral hepatitis is a silent killer and Asia Pacific has the highest prevalence of people living with viral hepatitis. Annually, one million people die from viral hepatitis in Asia Pacific, the highest mortality globally.
CEVHAP is the first policy advocacy organisation in the region to dedicate its efforts to eradicating viral hepatitis across Asia Pacific. We are committed to building partnerships with others who share the same goals including governments, non-government organisations, the business sector, academia, civil society, people who are infected and those who care for them.

More people die from viral hepatitis in the Asia Pacific than HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined.
Up to 64% of global deaths from viral hepatitis occur in Asia Pacific.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals target a global reduction in hepatitis-related mortality of 65% and a 90% reduction in new infections by 2030.
Eliminating, and eventually eradicating viral hepatitis is a realistic goal. The time to act is now.
